I was born in Kumasi, Ghana, and raised on prayer meetings in my grandmother's courtyard. At nine I landed in Atlanta, where I learned two languages at once: the language of the church and the language of the street. I have been translating between them ever since.
At twenty-one, during an all-night vigil in Decatur, I heard my name called and saw a map unfold. It was not a vision of a platform. It was a vision of cities, with doors in them. I have spent two decades walking toward those doors with a Bible, a suitcase and whoever was willing to come with me.
Today I lead Elias Mensah Ministries from Atlanta. We cover forty house churches, mentor a new class of apostles and prophets each year, and accept a limited number of invitations to preach, teach and build with local churches around the world.
Platforms are borrowed. Foundations are what we leave.
